Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) - Reverse Osmosis Systems Print E-mail

Langelier Saturation Index or LSI - The Langelier Saturation Index, often abbreviated to LSI is an important measurement of CaCO3 potential and is used as a key performance indicator in the management of reverse osmosis systems. A positive Langlier Saturation Index indicates that CaCO3 can precipitate. A negative LSI indicates that the water is corrosive to steel.
